Our Wines

2006 Syrah
Shadowbrook’s 2006 Syrah is the first full production from our syrah grapes located next to the bocce court on the winery property. These vines although young; produce beautiful oval shaped bunches of grapes that are hard to keep from eating before harvesting for wine. This vintage was able to hang on the vines until early September enabling the grapes to fully mature. As a result we were able to extract some dense color and complex flavors that will prove Walnut Creek soil has what it takes to produce world class wine.

2006 Rosé
Shadowbrook Winery is proud to present our first ever release of Rosé. This wine was made from the juice of several different red varietals. A great drinking dry Rosé, the wine displays delightful aromas of raspberry and oodles of ripe watermelon both on the nose and the palate. This wine is very well balanced and should be perfect for that summer lunch or just sipping by the pool.

2005 Chardonnay
This Chardonnay is big in every way, very aromatic and offers delightful forward aromas of ripe pineapple and apricots with intriguing scents of toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, the wine boasts a full, rich texture followed by ripe flavors, well balanced by subtle, spicy vanilla oak and clove tones with an excellent underpinning of acidity.

2005 Jon Raé
Our Jon Raé is a special blend of red wines in tribute to the winemaker’s fathers, John Lavezzoli and Ray Jochner. This first release expresses the quality of the Walnut Creek “terroir” even in its early stages. It exhibits aromas of ripe black cherries, blackberries and mint on the nose. On the palate it has a smooth texture with additional berry and spice flavors, followed by a long finish ending with a taste of chocolate.
